Dear compatriots!

Let me congratulate you on the holiday of the Uzbek language.

The Uzbek language is a symbol of statehood, the basis of unity and harmony, an inexhaustible source of the spiritual wealth of our people.

Exactly 31 years ago, on October 21, 1989, the law "On the state language of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was adopted, according to which the Uzbek language acquired the status of the state language. This was a significant step towards building an independent state.

All steps to promote the spread of the Uzbek language serve not only to promote linguistic diversity and multilingual education, develop familiarity with linguistic and cultural traditions around the world. But they also strengthen solidarity based on mutual understanding, tolerance and dialogue.

Happy holiday, dear compatriots.
