Can the loan repayment period be extended?
Based on Resolution No. 213/1 of the Banking Supervision Committee of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 7, 2020, and pursuant to Presidential Decree No. UP-5978 of April 3, 2020, "On additional measures taken in the banking system," credit holidays were announced from April 1 to October 1, 2020 to ease financial difficulties during the quarantine period. In connection with the easing of quarantine restrictions and the absence of further instructions on extending the repayment period for government-allocated loan funds, loan payments must be made within the time limits set by the loan agreement and the repayment schedule.
Is it possible to obtain a loan without collateral?
According to the credit policy of JSCB "Orient Finans," liquid assets provided as collateral must amount to at least 125% of the loan amount. Loan funds are disbursed by the Bank after the collateral has been registered in the manner prescribed by law.
What should I do if cash is debited from my card at an ATM, but the ATM does not dispense the money?
If funds are not returned to your bank card due to a technical error during a cash withdrawal, you should contact the branch of the Bank to which the ATM belongs, presenting an identity document, so that the funds can be returned to your card.
Do banks have the right to set interest rates when cash is withdrawn from ATMs using a bank card?
Banks set commissions to cover the costs of supplying ATMs with cash and to obtain a certain amount of profit. In addition, pursuant to Article 62 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Banks and Banking Activities," the amounts of interest rates on loans and borrowings, intermediary fees, and banking operations are determined by the bank independently.
I accidentally made a payment with my bank card through a mobile app of a payment organization to another phone number that does not belong to me. Can I get my money back?
When paying for services through mobile apps of banks and/or payment organizations, payment confirmation is requested to verify the accuracy of the entered details. If a payment is made in error, responsibility lies with the payer. To clarify whether the payment can be corrected, you must contact the payment recipient — in this case, the mobile network operator.
The card reported lost was found after the Bank blocked it. What should I do?
In such cases, you must contact the issuing bank with an identity document and submit an application to unblock the bank card.
What should I do if my bank card is lost?
You must notify the Bank of the loss of your bank card. The card will be blocked after the client is verified (identified). Then you need to submit an application to the Bank to open a new bank card to replace the lost one.
How can I connect SMS notifications to my bank card?
SMS notifications for a bank card of the Uzcard payment system can be connected at the Bank or via an ATM, and for a bank card of the HUMO payment system — at the branch where the card was issued.
Can I open a bank (plastic) card remotely?
Yes. A bank card can be opened remotely by submitting the required documents through the official website of JSCB "Orient Finans" and by placing an order via the Bank's mobile application.
